Description
The kit includes a check valve for role over protection. If circumstances ever change, ie: the fuel cell is moved to a different vehicle, 20-0148 Fill Neck Cap can screw onto 20-0147 Remote Fill Neck for direct filling. Note that even though the sealed roll-over valve can be removed for direct filling, the fill neck has a minor machining obstruction from the valve.
Alternatively, the 20-0197 Direct Mount Fill Neck and Cap is perfect for direct into the fuel cell, as shown below. This kit uses the same 20-0147 Fill Neck Cap but the shorter fill neck is cleared of any obstruction (as shown below) so filling is quick and simple. The Direct Fill neck does NOT have a built-in check valve.
Both fill necks are CNC machined from billet aluminum. The cap uses a Viton O-ring and is not vented.
